On Sunday, November 11, 2018, vendors across Philadelphia gathered together for a bridal show at Radnor Hunt. The show gave couples a taste of the latest wedding trends and ideas as well as allowed them to direct any questions they have to knowledgeable planners, florists, photographers and many other wedding professionals.

Mouthwatering bites, creative station, a donut wall and more!
Guests began to arrive around 11 a.m. During cocktail hour, J. Scott Catering’s staff passed out the following delicious hors d’oeuvres:
- Vietnamese chicken spring roll with tamarind dipping sauce
- Baked brie crostini with cranberry jam and toasted pecan
- Roasted Brussels sprouts with bacon and caramelized onions
- Fried goat cheese prosciutto and truffle honey
- Mini California burger with avocado and cheddar
- Braised short rib on jalapeno cheddar cornbread with candied orange zest
There were also plenty of food stations arranged for grazing. Guests enjoyed a fried chicken and waffle station as well as a butternut squash and goat cheese risotto display.
And how could we forget to mention the decadent dessert setup? Desserts arranged by Clay’s Bakery and The Master’s Baker, powdered and sprinkled donuts and carnival popcorn were all up for grabs.
We wanted to make sure everyone who joined us was well-fed and happy. Around 11:30 a.m., J. Scott opened up the grill for custom-made cheese steaks. Guests chose from American, provolone or cheese whiz cheese. Toppings included sautéed onions and mushrooms, sweet and hot peppers, ketchup, mayonnaise and hot sauce. The fire pits outside were made available for guests to sit around and enjoy their cheesesteak.
Elegant décor, floral and arrangements
While guests enjoyed flavorful bites, they were encouraged to mingle and roam the ballrooms where various booths were adorned elegant wedding décor. Copper mugs, chargers, a light-up LOVE sign, barrels with market lights, walnut cross back chairs, mahogany Chiavari barstools and a rustic farm table were all on display.
Finally, guests gathered for the final hour of giveaways and any last-minute ideas and questions they wanted to discuss with wedding professionals on-site. It was a memorable day, and we’re grateful for everyone who made it out and for everyone who worked hard to make it a success! If you were unable to attend in November, consider attending one of the two shows in 2019. Stay tuned for dates!
